Abstract
Errors are found during the test run. Logging the errors in a disciplined way provides insight and makes it possible to solve the errors efficiently. A prerequisite is that an error should be unambiguous and legible and contain all of the information needed to process and manage it. This chapter discusses how errors are logged to ensure the requirements are met. The information in this chapter can also serve as a guideline for the organization and as a starting point for the testers. Clearly describing how errors are logged saves a lot of time when discussing and solving them.
