The Physical Test Design

This chapter describes the creation of physical test cases. The starting point for the creation of a physical test case is the logical test case. The tester uses his knowledge of the system to convert logical test cases into physical test cases, which define the test actions that need to be carried out, the test data used, and the most efficient sequence (the testing scenarios) to carry them out in. These three elements form an integral whole because they are all worked on during the creation of the physical test design.
