Part of the book series: Medical Radiology ((Med Radiol Radiat Oncol))

Abstract

Small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) accounts for 15%–20% of all lung cancer cases. It is a systemic disease that requires multidisciplinary management. Both chemotherapy and radiation therapy are important treatment modalities in curative and palliative treatment of SCLC.
