Neben einigen Cochrane-Reviews zur Th erapie der Esstörungen liegen Leitlinien aus unterschiedlichen Ländern vor (Australien, Neuseeland, USA, Deutschland). Von britischen Experten wurden die so genannten NICE-Leitlinien (NICE:National Institute for Cinical Excellence) entwickelt und im Januar 2004 veröff entlicht (Wilson u. Shafran 2005), die Leitlinien der American Psychiatric Association (APA) kamen 2006 heraus.
