Abstract

On behalf of the Program Committee of the 2nd International Symposium on Information Security (IS 2007), it was our great pleasure to welcome the participants to IS 2007, held in conjunction with OnTheMove Federated Conferences (OTM 2007), during November 25-30, 2007, in Vilamoura, Portugal. In recent years, significant advances in information security have been made throughout the world. The objective of the symposium was to promote information security related research and development activities and to encourage communication between researchers and engineers throughout the world in this area.
