Simulation of Unilateral Constraint in MBS software SimMechanics

Abstract

This paper deals with implementation of simple unilateral constraint model in SimMechanics environment. The point — line segment contact is modelled using linear viscous — elastic model, the tangential component is considered with Coulomb friction. The block has been successfully tested on the case of circuit breaker problem.
