Abstract

Hybrid distributed manufacturing execution system (HDMES) can be widely considered as a typical case of complicated application system. In this paper, the management characteristics of a multi-location special steel enterprises are analyzed; the flat-style management pattern system architecture for Special Steel Enterprises Information System (SSEIS) is constructed and the hardcore functional structures of HDMES—planning and scheduling system and material flow tracking system are brought about. This paper proposes the usage of applied information models to support the distributed product manufacturing process. On the basis of the corresponding relation between production number and contract number, the contract-tracking model is proposed. Based on the grouping of products with similar attributes, the material balance model is put forward. This system is developed based on J2EE and its interrelated modules work dynamically and systematically in Web environment.
