Verordnungsspektrum und Verordnungsmenge der Muskelrelaxantien haben sich 2006 gegenüber dem Vorjahr kaum verändert. Lediglich in der Gruppe älterer Muskelrelaxantien ergaben sich leichte Einbußen. Das peripher muskelrelaxierend wirkende Botulinumtoxin hält auch 2006 vor Tetrazepam Scine Spitzenposition als der am häufigsten verordnete Wirkstoff.
