Zusammenfassung
Eine 42-jährige Bürokauffrau, derzeit mit ihren beiden Kindern getrennt vom Ehemann lebend, begab sich zu einer sechswöchigen Behandlung in eine psychiatrische Klinik. Die Aufnahmediagnose war „generalisierte Angststörung“. Im Vordergrund ihrer seit etwa 4 Jahren bestehenden Beschwerden standen neben somatischen Symptomen (Hitzewallungen, starkes Schwitzen, schneller Puls und Durchfälle) anhaltende Ängste und exzessives Grübeln. Nach eigenen Angaben betreffen die Sorgen sowohl familiäre als auch beruflich-finanzielle Angelegenheiten. So dachte sie z. B. stundenlang an den nächsten Anwaltstermin im Kontext der laufenden Scheidung oder sie beschäftige sich abends im Bett schon damit, am nächsten Tag den Briefkasten zu öffnen und evtl. Post vom Anwalt ihres Ehemannes zu erhalten. Es hätten sich zunehmend auch Schlafstörungen entwickelt. Im Zuge des Gedankenkreisens fühle sie sich dann nicht mehr in der Lage, sich auf andere Dinge zu konzentrieren.
