Abstract
Earlier we discussed synchronization phenomena in periodically forced periodic oscillators, when the forcing frequency was close to the natural frequency of unforced oscillations. A natural question arises: “What happens if we are perturbing the system with a frequency which is substantially different from its natural frequency? Are there any synchronization phenomena in that case?” The answer is “yes,” and below we will illustrate this.
