Abstract

In previous chapters, the type synthesis of PMs with motion patterns described by serial virtual chains was performed. However, some motion patterns cannot be described by serial virtual chains. Such motion patterns may nevertheless have practical relevance. Therefore, in some instances, the type synthesis of PMs with a parallel virtual chain is required.
