Abstract
In later sections it will be necessary to introduce the total angular momentum J = L + S and, in the case of two electrons with their respective spins, S1 and S2, to consider the total spin S = S1 + S2. Generally, supposing that we have two angular momentum operators, J1 and J2, the problem consists in investigating the total angular momentum (10.1).
