Abstract

The coexistence of cancer with pregnancy is a rare event. The estimated frequency is around 1 case of cancer every 1,000 gestations. During the last decades and especially in developed countries the incidence is probably increasing because of delay of pregnancy into the late reproductive years [1, 2].
