Abstract
We present here the first results from an ongoing spectroscopic survey of candidate compact groups selected in second Digitized Palomar Observatory Sky Survey, DPOSS II. The survey has been carried out at La Silla Observatory and 120 groups out of 261 possible candidates visible from the southern emisphere have been observed.
