Soft Decision Support Systems for Evaluating Real and Financial Investments

  • Chapter
Fuzzy Engineering Economics with Applications

Part of the book series: Studies in Fuzziness and Soft Computing ((STUDFUZZ,volume 233))

Abstract

In this chapter, we shall present two main results that we accomplished in the fields of financial management and strategic investment planning. Applying our theoretical results, we will discuss the development of two soft decision support models in detail, which use possibility distributions to describe and characterize the uncertainty about future payoffs.
