All-round compression of isotropic simply connected body. Application of the integral stability criteria

Abstract

In this section we outline some results on stability of simply connected isotropic compressible and incompressible bodies subjected to all-round compressive loading applied to its surface. In detail this problem was considered in the author’s monograph [29] for elastic bodies. Here we shall examine elastic and elastoplastic bodies as well as bodies with rheological properties.
