Abstract

We observe from the results discussed in Sects.10,11 that the dynamic method of investigation of stability of the state of equilibrium in the context of TLTDBS can be applied to the much more complicated problems than the static method which is applicable only to static problems and even then not to all. Sufficient conditions of applicability of the static method to static problems are therefore worth examining. By sufficient conditions of applicability are implied the conditions on which the results obtained both by the static and the dynamic methods are coincident. In this section we formulate and verify, in the common for all types of bodies form, sufficient conditions of applicability of static method to static problems for compressible and incompressible bodies subjected to “dead” and “tracking” loads.
