Zusammenfassung
Hauptpfeiler des diagnostisch-therapeutischen Prozesses sind auch in der Pädiatrie Anamnese und klinische Untersuchung. Im Zeitalter der modernen „Hightechmedizin“ geht dieser Grundsatz häufig verloren. Täglich erlebt man, dass ein Kind bereits vor einer gründlichen Anamnese und Untersuchung sofort zur Sonographie, in ein Labor oder zu einem Fachspezialisten geschickt wird. Unsicherheit, klinische Unerfahrenheit oder Zeitmangel des verantwortlichen Kinderarztes sind die wichtigsten Ursachen solcher Fehlhandlungen.
