Abstract

Acne is generally considered to be a disease of adolescence, although it can also affect neonates, infants, children, and adults [1]. A neonate is defined as a newborn less than 28 days of age. A plethora of dermatoses such as infectious and noninfectious disorders, including allergic conditions, genodermatoses, and acne neonatorum (neonatal acne) may present as pustular eruptions during this period [2].
