Imagine the following scenario. Long lines of customers waiting from early morning every day, rooms of equipment buzzing and flashing here or there, a couple dozen operators bustling about and streamlining customers through various machines. Can you imagine where this is? An indoor Disney-like theme park? Or a testing field for a hot new toy? Neither! It is actually an ultrasound department in a hospital! (Fig. 1)
