Abstract

The shoulder is a very complexly built human joint. Four parts compose the shoulder joint: the scapulohumeral, sternoclavicular, acromioclavicular and thoracoscapular joint component. Shoulder pain may be caused by several potential causes that are summarized by the term rotator cuff syndrome.
