The orthopedist accompanies human beings throughout their life span. Starting with the inspection of the newborn baby shortly after birth, orthopedic care continues with checks for malpositioning and provision of orthopedic shoe inlays during adolescence and conservative and surgical treatment of degenerative diseases in advanced age.
