Abstract
Compositions of solid solutions xAg1-(1−x)ZnI2 (0.5 ≤x ≤ 1), had been synthesized. The characterization studies of the materials using x-ray diffraction at room temperature and conductivity measurements by using impedance spectroscopy. The investigations were carried out for determination of the structure of materials and the conductivity for different composition in order to establish the relationship between the material structure and the conductivity. Samples with more AgI content are more crystalline. The conductivity of the compound will be increased with the decreases of crystalline structures.
