Die Psoriasisarthritis (PsA) wird den seronegativen Spondarthritiden zugeordnet. Sie entwickelt sich bei 10–30% der Psoriasispatienten, die Gesamtprävalenz wird auf 0,1% geschätzt. Bei 10% der Patienten geht die PsA der Hautmanifestation voraus (»Psoriasisarthritis sine Psoriase«), bei 75% folgt sie der Hauterkrankung, in 15% beginnt beides parallel. Die Geschlechterverteilung ist ausgeglichen, der Erkrankungsgipfel liegt zwischen 20 und 40 Lebensjahren.
