Abstract
In this paper we confirm, using the photoacoustic spectroscopy, that the incorporation of oxygen to crytalline zeolitic chromosilicates promotes the oxidation of anchored Cr(III) to non — interacting Cr(VI) species. The thermal diffusivity, the non — radiative relaxation time and the optical absorption coefficients of both calcinated and non — calcinated chromosilicate samples are also reported.
