Abstract

Endoscopic extraperitoneal radical prostatectomy (EERPE) has been developed profoundly, and standardised to a point that it has become the first-line option for patients with localised prostate cancer in an increasing number of institutions. The incidence of most complications correlates directly with the surgeon’s experience, and the various complications are related to technical errors rather than to the technique itself.
