Extended Summary
Reducing aircraft drag is an economic challenge not only for airlines for which the fuel consumption reduction is of the foremost importance for D.O.C. reduction, but also for smaller aircraft like business jets where the improved aerodynamic performances make it possible to build smaller, lighter and therefore less expensive aircraft. It is therefore one of the major keys for the improved competitiveness of the business jets.
