Thermodynamic Properties of Inorganic Materials

  • Chapter
Binary Systems. Part 5: Binary Systems Supplement 1

Abstract

This document is part of Subvolume B5 'Binary Systems. Part 5: Binary Systems Supplement 1' of Volume 19 'Thermodynamic Properties of Inorganic Materials' of Landolt-Börnstein - Group IV 'Physical Chemistry'.

It provides an overview of the thermodynamic properties and the mixing behaviour of the binary system Al-Sr (Aluminium - Strontium). It contains a description of the properties of Al-Sr, and calculated thermodynamic data, which is represented in figures and tables:

Fig. 1. Calculated phase diagram for the system Al-Sr.

Table I. Phases, structures and models.

Table II. Invariant reactions.

Table IIIa. Integral quantities for the liquid phase at 1400 K.

Table IIIb. Partial quantities for Al in the liquid phase at 1400 K.

Table IIIc. Partial quantities for Sr in the liquid phase at 1400 K.

Fig. 2. Integral quantities of the liquid phase at T = 1400 K.

Fig. 3. Activities in the liquid phase at T = 1400 K.

Table IV. Standard reaction quantities at 298.15 K for the compounds per mole of atoms.
