Abstract

The main principles of gamma-ray and conversion-electron spectrometry are discussed. Examples are presented where tagging methods are employed in gamma-ray and electron-spectroscopic studies of nuclei close to the proton drip-line of Z ≈ 82 nuclei and trans-fermium nuclei near Z = 102.
