Optical Damage Effects in LiNbO3:Ti Waveguides

Abstract

Holographic measurements of light induced refractive index changes are reported indicating stabilization of Fe2+ centers in LiNbO3Ti waveguides. These centers increase the sensitivity to optical damage effects.
