Abstract

A scanning X-ray microscope (SXM) is in operation at the BESSY electron storage ring. Images with 0.1 pm resolution have been obtained. The scanning time is less than 10 ms per image point at a measured photon rate of up to 106 photons/s. Images with some minutes total scan time are shown. The SXM is compared to the imaging x-ray microscope (XM).
