Part of the Springer Series in Optical Sciences book series (SSOS, volume 13)

The association of the two eyes, which are located symmetrically relative to the median plane of the head, gives man’s vision several advantages, of which, no doubt, the most important is the sense of depth and relief. In this book, we shall not be concerned with either of these. We shall study only the conjugate movements of the eyes and their optometric consequences.
