Abstract
The pioneering work for reconstruction of multi-parallax images by holography has been done by DE BITTETO. His purpose was reducing information quantity for teletransmission of holograms. He continuously juxtapositioned many small holograms. Each of them was reduced to a narrow vertical band containing all the information of the image. He demonstrated feasibility on some plates and determined the optimal width w for a slit-former at 1 mm approximately, and the optimal height h avoiding discontinuity of the image, at
where d1 is the image - hologram distance and d2 the hologram -observer distance.
