Non-Linear Hanle Effect: Saturation Parameters and Power Enhancements in Lasers

Abstract

The use of intense laser sources has opened the possibility of observing the non-linear version of well known effects of the linear spectroscopy. The non-linear Hanle effect in the past years has been observed in the visible and infrared both on atoms and molecules. Recently it was also introduced to explain the power enhancements observed on optically pumped three-level lasers [1].
