Abstract
It was my intention to include in this chapter some sort of comprehensive study of the process of modular optical design. Time and fortune have conspired against me. Instead, I include a selection of some of our experiments, hoping that these will aid the reader and potential user in formulating his own ideas of the system’s capabilities and deficiencies.
