Abstrait

Cet exposé, qui ne prétend à aucune originalité, se veut complémentaire au rapport de Robert [13] sur Jacquet-Langlands [9]. On peut le diviser en deux parties d’esprit assez différent. Les paragraphes 0, 1 et 2 se veulent un pont, dans la théorie des formes modulaires, entre le point de vue classique et celui des représentations de GL(2). Le paragraphe 3 est un fascicule de résultats de la théorie de représentations de GL(2, K) (K corps local), Il dépend des paragraphes 2, 3 et 8 de [4] (ce volume), eux-mêmes indépendant du reste de cet article.
