Atmosphärische Druckänderungen führen einerseits zu mechanischen und andererseits zu physikochemischen Einwirkungen auf den Körper als Folge der Partialdruckänderungen der Atemgase. Da die Lunge bei diesen Krankheiten und Unfällen meist im Zentrum des pathophysiologischen Geschehens steht, sollen sie hier kurz erwähnt werden.
