Novel branched cationic fluorinated oligourethanes were obtained by a two-step addition synthesis between aliphatic polyisocyanates containing, as a core structure, isocyanurate rings, N,N-dialkyaminoalcohols, and bifunctional perfluoropolyether (PFPE) diols having the following structure
HOCH2CF2(OCF2CF2) p (OCF2) q OCF2CH2OH (Fomblin ZDOL).
