Abstract

In this book we started with gathering data on the system and ended with optimization models to be used in web planning. We employed two methods in web planning: (1) fuzzy probabilities; and (2) fuzzy arrival rates and fuzzy service rates. So, we first present a brief summary of these two methods followed by our future research topics in this area. A summary of the computational algorithms used is in the next chapter. There is an increasing interest in web planning as seen by recent books in this area (see [4],[5],[6]) and new conferences on this topic (see [2],[3]).
