Abstract

Before solving problems of synthesis of an industrial robot as an integral dynamic system, the creation of separate drives that ensure partial motions of the robot must first be dealt with. In this case, we shall assume partial motion to mean programmed motion of the robot in which the operation of one of the drives1 causes only one of the generalised coordinates of the robot to change [67]. Dynamic synthesis of an industrial robot is based on obtaining mutual coordination of the drives taking account of their dynamic interactions as the movements occur simultaneously with several degrees of freedom.
