Wir führen jetzt auf differenzierbaren Mannigfaltigkeiten eine zusätzliche Struktur ein, die sich geometrisch als Parallelverschiebung beschreiben läßt. Von dieser Stelle an sollte man eher von Differentialgeometrie als von Differentialtopologie sprechen.
