Zusammenfassung
Bei Auftreten einer Lungenembolie lassen sich mittels Thoraxsonographie in mindestens drei Viertel der Fälle subpleurale schallgängige Läsionen darstellen. Diese entsprechen einerseits emboliebedingten, reperfundierbaren Alveolarödemen und Hämorrhagien (Lungenfrühinfarkte). Andererseits handelt es sich um ausgeprägte Lungeninfarzierungen, die ein typisches sonomorphologisches Bild mit kleinen pleural basierten triangulären oder leicht gerundeten Herden bieten. In Kombination mit Echokardiographie und Beinvenenkompressionssonographie liegt die Treffsicherheit über 90%, was mit keiner anderen Methode erzielt wird.
