Die richtige Auswahl des Instrumentariums ist eine der wesentlichen Voraussetzungen für die erfolgreiche Durchführung einer Operation. Sie ist mitentscheidend für den Heilungsverlauf und das ästhetische Spätresultat bei operativen Eingriffen am Integument. Für den Operateur ist es wichtig, dass er die speziellen Zwecke der jeweiligen Instrumente kennt sowie deren korrekte technische Anwendung beherrscht. Zur Grundausstattung gehören Skalpelle, Küretten, Stanzen, Scheren, Pinzetten, Nadelhalter, Klemmen und Haken (Abb. 9.1).
