Psychotherapie in der Psychiatrie

Zusammenfassung

Die Reform des Gesundheitswesens zwingt alle Bereiche der Medizin dazu, sich Kosten-Nutzen-Analysen zu unterziehen, dies gilt auch für Psychotherapien. Auf diese Herausforderung lassen sich verschiedene Antworten finden:

  1. 1.

    Eine Möglichkeit ist die Intensivierung empirischer Forschung, die zeigen soll, dass auch länger dauernde Verfahren eff ektiv und effi zient sind.

  2. 2.

    Eine andere Antwort besteht darin, Therapiezeiten zu verkürzen und kurzpsychotherapeutischen Verfahren den Vorzug gegenüber lang dauernden Verfahren zu geben.

  3. 3.

    Eine dritte Alternative ist es, kostengünstige Th erapieverfahren anzubieten, ohne dass gravierende Abstriche am psychotherapeutischen Gehalt des Angebots gemacht werden müssen.
