Zusammenfassung
Im Wissen um die Endlichkeit unseres Daseins versuchen wir alle, unserem Leben Sicherheit, Verlässlichkeit und Struktur zu geben. Im Straßenverkehr passen wir auf, dass wir niemanden überfahren, bei der Arbeit achten wir darauf, wichtige Akten sorgsam zu behandeln, und im Umgang mit unseren Kindern treff en wir Vorkehrungen, um sie nicht unnötiger Gefährdung auszusetzen. In der Regel stehen unsere Vorsichtsmaßnahmen in angemessenem Bezug zu der real existierenden Gefahr. Wenn wir aber eine Strecke mit dem Auto mehrmals abfahren, um sicherzugehen, niemanden verletzt zu haben, vor dem Verlassen des Arbeitszimmers jedes Mal 2 Stunden damit verbringen, unsere Unterlagen auf Ordentlichkeit zu überprüfen, unsere komplette Wohnungseinrichtung täglich mit Desinfektionsmitteln behandeln, um unsere Familie vor Keimen zu bewahren, liegt der Verdacht einer Zwangsstörung nahe.
