Abstract

High level architecture, as a new standard of distributed interactive simulation, facilitated simulation components interoperability and reusability, Run time infrastructure is software implementation of HLA, whose run-time performance is important for simulation applications. We have developed an alternatives version of RTI, named AST-RTI, which complies with HLA Interface Specification version 1.3. All services have been realized with excellent performance. In this paper, the principle of RTI design will be proposed, and the time management, resource storage as well as communication mechanism in AST-RTI will be discussed.
