Abstract
The majority of the information on the Web is dynamic content provided through linkups with databases. Therefore, we need an integrated information retrieval system that can effectively combine and access a vast resource of dynamic web contents linked with databases.
The integrated Web information system proposed in this paper is based on the concept-based semantic network. Also, the concept-based semantic network allows a user to easily obtain the desired information from several autonomous databases without prior knowledge of the schema by providing only a semantic query language. One of the major characteristics of the integrated database system based on the semantic network and semantic query language is that a single ontology can be used for various information sources.
