Abstract
The main purpose of question answering (QA) is to find an accurate answer to a given question. During research on QA systems in open domain, we understood that, in many cases the information that can be extracted from a question is not enough in order to find a suitable response; to be specific, for the purpose of answering a user’s question, additional information is needed to accurately fulfill his/her expectations. In this paper we introduce our idea of information acquisition using Chat Environment for QA and the results of preliminary experiments.
