Abstract

This paper focuses on robust tuning of the PID controller using immune algorithm which has function such as diversity, distributed computation, adaptation, self-monitoring function. After deciding disturbance rejection condition for the given process, the gains of PID controller is tuned to obtain the required response by fitness value of immune algorithm depending on disturbance rejection. Simulation results are compared with genetic algorithm.
