Abstract
In this book I proposed a novel coevolutionary approach to fuzzy modeling–Fuzzy CoCo–which I then applied to the solution of several hard problems. The experience acquired while exploring the usage and limitations of the method have permitted the extraction of guiding criteria to facilitate the use of Fuzzy CoCo. It is necessary, however, to perform further analysis to better understand the effect that some of the Fuzzy-CoCo parameters may have on its performance. It is also convenient to take a second look at the results obtained, in order to verify the consistency and the generality of the systems designed with Fuzzy CoCo.
